Sunset Chevrolet - 2006 HHR CHEVROLET POWER STEERING

Sarasota, Florida 0 comments
Not resolved

I own a 2006 HHR Chevrolet....was on a 7700 mi.trip out west when I lost my power steering in Arkansas coming home.

When I arrived back in Sarasota, Fl, I contacted the Chevy dealership....they said the car was not under warranty for the problem (happended at 26,000 miles) and it was not on the recall list for the cobalt defective part.

Dealership wanted to charge me $302.00 (including a 108.00 diagnoisis).I contacted an outside car repair mechanic who had to get the motor from the dealer but installed it for a total of $180.00
